Sonic Boom's Trust

Organized by Philippa Ballantine

The name has changed...
...but the effort goes on.

You've done it community! You've helped Tee Morris pay for the considerable funeral expenses. Because of you, Tee was able to not only afford the funeral, but also a viewing for friends of Nat. (Which is going on today) If you have memories of Natalie you would like to share visit http://remembernatalie.org/ so her family can know how much she was loved.
After the funeral on Tuesday we move onto the next phase of fundraising- this is for Sonic Boom- a five year old girl with her whole future in front of her- so let's try and give her options. Nothing can replace the loss of her mother, but we can at least give her that.
So here's the plan- keep chipping in as and where you can, but also know that we have planned a webathon auction event. This will be held on 27th February 2010. This time is to allow for organisation, people to prepare, and yes, time for people to grieve for Natalie.
We have a website http://www.theboomeffect.org/ and auction lots will begin appearing there- so don't forget to subscribe via RSS to watch the awesome stuff people have donated. It's going to be a celebration of life, fun and humour, because this event is for a little girl. If you want to donate please email donations@theboomeffect.org
Thank you once again, for all you as a community have done. I know Tee is stunned and touched by it all. You lifted his burden a little and we won't soon forget that.
Love
Pip
For Tee and Sonic Boom
Tee and Sonic Boom (his young daughter) are not only facing the loss of Natalie, but also significant and immediate costs involved with her death and keeping their family together.
We're all better off because of what Tee has done for the podcasting community. He started this thing, let's show him in a little way, that we are standing behind him.
